Sancerre always had that look at me attitude. She was the
first horse most people would comment about when they visited the farm.
She had a major an injury on 1-16-09, after running into a guide wire from an
electric pole. (It was the right height and the only thing in the pasture) She
had to stay up for weeks. But she never developed a bad attitude. She was also
such a sweet mare! On April 20th 2010(5:30 in the evening) I
was so upset when she and Warrior decided to "get together". Thought of
giving her a shot to ensure no baby but just couldn't bring myself to do it.
I'm glad I didn't as the results were a lovely chestnut / white filly born
on April 4th 2011.

Exceptional Filly!!

Sancerre passed after a bad storm. Although I had heard horses would die is
cast I'd never had it happen. She apparently got caught under the corral
boards. with the incline and possibly bumping her head every time she tried
to get up she finally gave up. Her legacy lives on in her filly. She really touch our farm during her short time here. Some of the
photos of her has spread over the southeast.
